We are a small group of independent therapists who are located in, and provide services, in select areas of New York State. We have joined together to serve a common purpose: to assist you in the facilitation of choices to foster empowerment and make decisions aligned with your authentic self.

Why Therapy?

Some of us come with a desire to end deep emotional suffering, others to resolve issues in life whether it is work/school related, family dynamics, or difficulties with interpersonal relationships. Others turn to therapy out of wanting to have a deeper understanding of ourselves and our engagement in repetitive behaviors and vicious cycles that keep us stuck in old patterns, “dysfunctional comfort.” Wanting to break a cycle doesn’t always mean we know how. Taking a step toward therapy requires courage, strength, and trust. Traumatic wounding and other life stressors can lend its way to distrust of others and doubt in one-self. It can deplete us of what may have existed already or result in an inability to develop some of these essential traits. We are here to help you on your journey because we know nothing is as easy as it may seem.

It is our desire to provide you with a safe and comfortable environment in knowing you will be heard, validated, cared about and as equally important, that what you share is confidential. Therapy is a place for self-expression, intuition, and insight. There is no judgement. Therapy is a collaborative effort between you and your therapist which is based on your needs and wants. Improvement is based on your desire and ability to be an active participant in the process. We do not pretend to have the answers; No one else walks in your shoes, but we will provide you with support and guidance toward self-determination. We strive to think outside of the box when it feels like there is no hope and other methods of coping have failed you. The possibilities are limitless if you can change perspective.
